1986 In 1986, senior management acquired the real estate subsidiary, Daniel Corporation, from Fluor Daniel. For 30 years Daniel Corporation was comprised of two operating companies: Daniel Communities and Daniel Commercial, both of which focus on southeastern and mid-Atlantic markets.

1977 In 1977, California-based Fluor Corporation acquired Daniel to become one of the largest engineering and construction companies in the world. The testament to the strength and recognition of the Daniel name was evidenced by the naming of the new company: Fluor Daniel.
