Rancho La Quinta

La Quinta, California
The desert holds a mystique. Crisp and cool evenings and dry, almost refreshing heat during the day–year round. This is why people have been coming to the California communities at the base of Santa Rosa Mountains for at least a century. Set on the valley floor, Rancho LaQuinta has been at the center of the desert lifestyle since the early 1990s. Here, days revolve around outdoor activities–golf, biking, hiking, and all racquet sports–while evenings are filled with meals at wonderful local restaurants and gatherings nearby homes.

Since opening in 1993, Rancho LaQuinta County Club has become synonymous with golf–home to the championship designs of Robert Trent Jones and Jerry Pate. The resort lifestyle of Rancho LaQuinta is steeped in the history of its famous neighbor, the LaQuinta resort. Rancho La Quinta gained its own national acclaim as the home of the PGA’s Skins Game for decades. The stewardship of this iconic community was entrusted to Daniel Communities by the Drummond Company to perpetuate the vision of the company’s patriarch. Our work concluded with the buildout of the community and transition of the Club and community to the resident association in 2021.
